For beauty we ain't gotta go that far Truth be told it's in your own backyard We are an Island like no other, no other place can match it Yesterday was a t shirt and today you're zipping up your jacket But you wouldn't trade it away, no matter of fact You missed home too much when you went away to Halifax The trees, the mountains the breeze made you travel back to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia Oh Yeah Everybody has an idea of how perfect it really is (yeah) Just look right here we got it all, man Do I wanna leave? Not at all And I'm proud to say that I'm gonna be a Caper till I'm gone now
