Today was hard for me
I didn’t want to get out of bed
Too many thoughts and memories
Going through my head
I remember what you said


I miss the simple things the most
Like waking up next to you
I wish I could go back in time
So I could hold you one more night


Im sleeping less every night
I need to get away for a while
Maybe call an old friend
Reminisce the good old times
Ease my mind for a little while

I really miss you a lot today
Its hard to think back to the day
I’ve learned so much from watching you
I never thought of losing you
