Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. John would have prevented him, saying: "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
And Jesus answering said unto him. "Suffer it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness". Then he suffered him.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightaway out of the water, and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.
And lo a voice from heaven saying. "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

PART THREE: THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT
See the people, 'neath the mountain, there to hear. See the Master on the mountain, yet so near.
Who can hear him? (Do you understand?)Hear him speak. Who will listen? (Do you understand?). Hear him teach.
To promise future blessings. To serve as salt to the earth. Be the light of the world, those who find him (Find, find him), those who hear him (Hear, hear him), those who serve him (Serve, serve him).
See the people, 'neath the mountain, to be blessed. Poor in spirit, thirst and hunger, righteousness.
Endure slander (listen to him speak) to believe, persecution (listen to him speak) to be free.
The road will not be easy, for promise of reward, to follow what is righteous, to be perfect (find, find him)as your Father (hear, hear him) is in Heaven (serve, serve him). Amen. Amen. Amen.
PART FOUR: THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us each day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
